Fasteners are centerless ground to ensure concentricity and any surface defects from heat treating are removed. Threads are roll formed on the fastener in the hardened state. Once threaded, the fasteners are stress-relieved, deburred, and plated or polished prior to meeting each customer's packaging requirements.
