HP Tuner's RTD Interface Only - VMP Private Labeled


The HP Tuner's Remote Tuning Device is a device that eliminates the ability to view or edit custom files, while allowing the car owner to easily install a custom calibration. The customer can read a stock file, or load a custom file vehicle using the new RTD Flasher software (Windows 7+ required). The RTD also works in conjunction with the VCM Scanner software for easy datalogging and diagnostics!

*The RTD does not support VCM editor*


In order to load a tune file via the RTD, HP credits will need to be loaded to the device. The amount of credits that are required varies by the vehicle's year, make and model.

A short list of common VMP supported vehicles and their credit requirements can be seen below:


  • 2018-2021 Mustang 5.0 - (4) HP Credits
  • 2015-2017 Roush Mustang 5.0 - (2) HP Credits
  • 2020-2021 Mustang GT500 - (4) HP Credits
