The DFC Diesel Remanufactured Long Block Crate Engine is remanufactured to be a high-quality replacement to the tired engine in your 2017-2019 6.7L Powerstroke. Each DFC engine is remanufactured to meet strict building guidelines. DFC makes important improvements that help your engine maintain its high-performance ability without reducing reliability. Constructed using advanced Rottler machining equipment, you can be sure your engine is built to tolerances that are more precise than the factory specs for an efficient and long-lasting engine!

Engine Remanufacturing
DFC engines are usually matched with near identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. As a result, you get a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.

Cylinder Head
DFC replaces each valve guide with a new cast guide in every cylinder head. Instead of just a giving old valves re-grind, DFC installs all new valves from high quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC also machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material. DFC then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking, giving you a more durable cylinder head. 

6.7L Long Block Includes:
Complete long block with cylinder heads, all rockers and pushrods installed, and complete top end gasket kit to finish installation.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items - Sold Separately):
Oil Cooler - highly recommended and mandatory if your past engine had a bearing failure.
Injectors - highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.
Turbocharger - recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if engine was dusted.
Water Pump - highly recommended if engine has over 125K. 
Evans Waterless Coolant - recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover. 

Application Note:
The specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process.

Note: $500 Crate charge is included in core charge total. Engine shipping crate must be returned with core engine to receive full core credit.
